Assignments: Opinions and More

(While we're on the topic of things I like, here is my favorite Disney character)

     I think for this class, I am most interested in the format of the class as a whole. I have never had a class where all the assignments are done in blogging form. I have also never had a class that allows us to voice our opinions as much as this one does. I love being able to put my opinion into my schoolwork and I also love being able to read other people's opinions. I think having the option to voice our opinions and still get homework and other assignments done is a great way to run a class, and will end up being the most productive.

     Another reason why this class intrigues me so much is because I don't actually feel like I'm doing homework. A lot of that has to do with the fact that I am writing blog posts instead of writing essays or doing multiple question and answer sheets. Another reason is because there aren't any real "tests", which is definitely a bonus for me considering my test anxiety is through the roof. I really enjoy the writing aspect of this class and I think that being able to write my own stories is a great way to show my personality through my work.

     There are two extra credit opportunities that grabbed my attention, the first one being the Wikipedia Trails. I have spent so much time on Wikipedia going from article to article that most of the time I don't even remember the original thing I was looking up. It's so fun to just keep exploring random things or things that interest me and learn more about things I didn't think I would be interested in. The second extra credit opportunity that caught my eye was the extra commenting option. I am one of those people that I love to voice my opinion and share my reasoning for things, so being able to engage with other people and share my opinion is a great way to earn the extra credit.
